The International Guide Academy, Inc. has been offering certification as a Tour Manager (Tour Director) since 1973. Now in 2010, the program is being held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.





Special hotel suite rates have been arranged for students taking this certification program. You can have a room to yourself, or you can choose to share a suite with your family, or a guest you bring with you. Private suites are only CAD$81.36 per night including taxes. IGA will make your reservations for you upon enrollment.

You can spend time outside of the program hours with your family or guests and you can add a few days before or after the course dates of July 10-18, 2010 at these special rates.

At the end of the course, those participating in the education process have earned their certification as a Tour Manager which allows them to seek a career in this position while allowing sufficient time to spend with guests outside of classroom hours. All graduates of the program have free lifetime placement assistance.

There are as of 20 June only 6 places left in the July 2011 program.

If you cannot make that program consider the certification program aboard the NCL Star from Los Angeles to Tampa via the Panama Canal. The program is the same price and held aboard the ship during days at sea thus allowing you time to visit all the ports of call and entertainment aboard. Our prices fo balcony, oceanview and inside berths is significantly less than NCL has on their web site.

The 2011 program is open for enrollment and begins on Saturday July 9 ending on Sunday July 17.
