Mytle Beach Early in the morning
My parents retired and moved to Myrtle Beach when my son was just about one year old. That was eight years ago and my husband and I have been taking our son there for family vacations ever since. I am constantly amazed at the amount of activities there are for us to enjoy while we are there!
There are some old favorites that we seem to do every time we visit. Like the The Children's Museum of South Carolina, Alligator Adventure (located near Barefoot Landing), and one of many, many themed miniature golf courses.
Then there also seem to be new attractions we discover each time we visit. On our last trip, we visited Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede which was absolutely amazing and kept my son's attention from start to finish!
There are also some wonderful restaurants that we have grown to love. Every visit we have to stop in at Bubba's Fish Shack for some fried green tomatoes and a white trash salad. But you can't take trip to Myrtle Beach without visiting at least one of their all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants! Believe me, you won't leave disappointed.
Between the beautiful beach, the fantastic food and the amazing attractions, you can't help but have a wonderful family vacation in Myrtle Beach.
