Singapore is a small city/state located at the tip of the Malaysian Peninsula. It is a cornucopia of cultures and offers so much for the visitor. You will find a mix of a modern, urban city and traditional and colonial history. Singapore is known for being conservative and clean. It isn't like most other Asian cities.
A lot of people say that you only need 1 or 2 days to see Singapore. We will find out on our trip there this summer, although we have chosen to stay for 4 days.
Some of the things we were looking forward to seeing include: Sentosa Island, Shopping on Orchard Road, the Singapore Night Safari, visiting the Arab Quarter and Chinatown, see the world famous Merlion, dining on the Singapore Flyer and checking out a real flight simulator. Not to mention having a Singapore Sling at the world famous Raffles Hotel Singapore.
