Afar Magazine offers Authentic travel with sections devoted to travel issues and topics unlike any others I've encountered in other travel magazines.

Their focus is to provide you with "authentic" travel experiences, giving you great vacation ideas where you can really immerse yourself into a new culture.

They show you how to connect with real people of other cultures and give you ideas on places to visit, ways to travel and things to do to enhance your experience, and even to give back to the local economies and societies.

Afar is also a travel company. They have many different "Afar Experiences" where you can travel with them and really get to know the destinations you go to.

Travel and Leisure Magazine

Travel and Leisure Magazine is one of our favorite travel magazines. It is geared to luxury travel, and because of that the photos are beautiful. We like Travel Leisure Magazine because it inspires us to choose destinations, both country or city or even areas of cities, that we may not have thought of before.

I love seeing what they vote as the favorite cities and either agreeing or disagreeing with their choices. It sparks conversation and ideas for us. We also enjoy the tips and tricks articles, like what travel scams to look our for or how much to tip in different places.

We enjoy trying to guess their picks on the 40 secret beach hideaways, or the best hotels. We may not always stay in the hotels that they advertise or report on, but it gives us an idea on a location to stay in in a particular destination.

We always look forward to the latest edition when it comes out!

Conde Nast Traveler Magazine

One of our favorite Travel Magazines. We have a subscription to this magazine and read it from cover to cover each month!

What we like about this magazine is that the editors only accept submissions from travel writers that have paid their own way and travel anonymously. I feel like their accounts of where they have traveled to is more credible and truthful.

I love their monthly and quarterly features like the "Must Have List" the "Hot List" and readers choice. Many a time we have chosen destinations based on what we read in this magazine.
