Romantic Things to do in Paris - Here are some great romantic vacation ideas to consider for your next trip to Paris with your special someone. Imagine stealing a kiss while walking along the Seine at sun set, running out of the rain to a great little cafe together, taking a boat tour or having a picnic under the Eiffel Tower.

Some of our favorite romantic things to do in Paris are:

• Sit in the park under the Eiffel Tower on a sunny afternoon
• Wander down the Champs Elysees and window shop
• Climb the Arc De Triomphe at night or at sunset
• Dine or have coffee in a sidewalk cafes, choose a neighborhood and enjoy (we liked St. Germain des Pres and Place Marche St Honore)
• Wander around Le Louvre while it rains outside
• Skip the cab and walk, choose a neighborhood and wander through it, choose the Latin Quarter, Place Furstemberg, Montmartre Hill, or along the Seine.
• Have a picnic in a park
• Take an evening stroll around the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden
• Have dinner in the Eiffel Tower (preferably at sunset (I am a sucker for sunsets)
• Organize a "Say I Love Your Tour"
• Wine and dine your love at some of the best restaurants in the world
• Find one of the many Jazz clubs, snuggle in with a bottle of wine and enjoy the music
• Take a fun tour together - our favorite is the Segway Tour
• Search out and shop in the first Louis Vuitton store (If that is your thing)
• Sleep in and order room service in a one of the many luxury hotels in Paris France
• Enjoy the Opera, a Cabaret Show (like the Moulin Rouge) or the theater
• Take a boat tour along the Seine
• Have High Tea at the Ritz Hotel
• Book a Chocolate massage at the Four Seasons Hotel
• Put a Lock on the bridge between Notre Dame and the Left Bank
• Share some Pierre Herme macaroons with a glass of champagne
• Listen to some Jazz at one of the many Jazz clubs in the city

Picnicking in Paris is not only inexpensive, it is tradition while visiting Paris.

First step is to choose a park to picnic in:

• Jardin du Luxembourg, next to Luxembourg Castle

• Jarden des Tuileries, near Le Louvre
• Buttes-Chaumont - in North Paris
• Jardin du Palais Royal
• Ile Sount-Louis
• Or many others

Now what to eat? Choose as the Parisians do. Go to the corner boulangerie for bread, the fromagerie for cheese, the traiteur for quiches, terrine and salads, and the patisserie for desserts.

And don't forget the marchand de vin for a lovely bottle of wine.

If you don't want to make that many stops, the local supermarket should have all you need for a wonderful picnic lunch.
